what happens when the trial ends?

the trial is 30 days and needs no card. about a week before it ends we send a reminder. if you add a card, the plan you chose starts when the trial ends and the card is charged then. if you don't, the plan ends: everything stays readable and exportable, nothing is deleted, and you can subscribe whenever you like.

what happens to our data if we cancel?

nothing is deleted when a plan ends. the organization turns read-only and stays that way for as long as it exists: everyone can still sign in, read and export, and the owner can resubscribe any time. the owner can delete teams and workspaces whenever they like, and once the owner is the only person left in the organization, deleting their account removes the organization and everything in it immediately. to close an organization with other people in it, the owner can use the close this organization button on the organization page, which ends the subscription and deletes its teams and workspaces at once; or remove or transfer the teams first, then delete the account. database backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data has left those copies within 14 days. anonymous answers are still removed once they are older than each team's retention period (24 months unless the team chose another).

can i cancel any time?

yes, from the billing page. canceling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for (or of the trial), you keep everything until then, and you can reactivate before it ends.

what if i change plans or add a product?

changes apply right away. when a change raises the price, the difference for the rest of the period is charged to your card at once. when it lowers the price, the difference is credited to your account. adding the second product turns on the bundle discount automatically.

what happens if a payment fails?

you keep full access for 14 days while the card is retried, and we email you. if it still hasn't gone through after that, the organization becomes read-only until the card is updated or the plan is canceled. nothing is deleted.

what does read-only mean?

you can still sign in, read everything and export it. nothing can be edited and new surveys stop opening. a banner on every page says why, with a resubscribe link for the people who can act on it. we'd rather be kind about an ended plan than lock you out of your own data.

do you offer refunds?

we don't refund automatically. if you were charged by mistake, or you cancel within 14 days of your first charge without having really used the product, write to help@jollygig.com and a person will sort it out.

where do i find invoices?

on the billing page, which opens stripe's customer portal for invoices and card details. stripe also emails a receipt after every charge.

are taxes included?

prices are in us dollars and shown before tax. where sales tax or vat applies, stripe works it out from your billing address and shows it on your invoice.
